The Relationship between Nursing Performance and Organizational Effectiveness

Abstract
Purpose: This study was to identify understanding of the relationship between nursing performance and organizational effectiveness.

Method: This study was a descriptive correlation research. The subjects of study were 320 nurses who were less than 5 years working experience at two large hospitals that have over 500 beds in G city. Four structured instruments were used to measure data :clinical performance competency evaluation, autonomy scale, adaptation of Spreitzer empowerment tool, & Organizational Commitment for organizational effectiveness.

Result:1) Nurse's Clinical performance score was 223.13. 2) Nurse's autonomy score was 151.34. 3) Empowerment score was 3.42. 4) Organizational commitment score was 4.40. 5) The relationship between nurse's clinical performance level and organizational effectiveness was significantly correlated(p<.005).

Conclusion: The result showed nursing clinical performance level became higher as organizational effectiveness increased. Therefore, the result of this study place
consideration on using furtherances in performance strategy development for organizational
effectiveness appropriately in order to increase clinical performance ability
